Sushi Wasabi in Tustin

I think there has been an improvement since they changed from Craine to Tomomi. Before the waitress were really rude. Now they seem more welcoming.

So...for newbies, this place is a ultra low key, simple sushi place. If you are looking for frills, this is not the place for you. I wouldn't bring children that are not into sushi-fortunately mine is a sushi lover. This is a simple place that does sushi the traditional way-fresh and simple. No excessive frilly nonsense! The sushi master(one man show here) visits the fish market in L.A. every day. He purchases the fresh products and serves them the same day. There are no extra products laying around for the next day. The omakase style is a good way to sample the variety. Yes, it is expensive...you are not eating leftover sushi from the previous day. Yes, the hours are very limited...the man is in L.A. at 3 a.m. getting the freshest product every day for goodness sake! I gave them a 4 star because of the price and limited hours, not because of the quality of the food. Cheers!

Excellent omakase! Each piece was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. Service was attentive and friendly.
